BIOGRAPHY
Suzanne has lived in Lake Stevens since 1987. Suzanne has been a very active volunteer in the community for many years, helping with School District, community and City projects. Suzanne Chaired the Bond effort for the Lake Stevens School District’s mid-high school construction and elementary school renovations. In addition, Suzanne recently led the successful community effort to achieve the large Frontier Village annexation.

Suzanne is the Executive Director of Listen and Talk school for children with hearing loss, located in Seattle.

Suzanne is a certified audiologist specializing in cochlear implants and hearing aids. She earned her bachelor’s degree at The George Washington University, a masters of science degree at Columbia University and a doctorate at the University of Washington.

Suzanne was appointed to the City Council in early 2007.

Suzanne and her husband are raising 4 children, all of whom attend public schools in Lake Stevens. Among Suzanne’s interests are travel, sprint triathlons, hiking and practicing her bassoon.

SPECIAL PROJECTS
Serves on the Board of Directors for the Lake Stevens Education Foundation and is a founding member of Academic Beginnings for Children.
