BIOGRAPHY
Neal, his wife Sally, and daughter Heather, moved to the Lake Stevens area from Phoenix in 1981. In 1987 they moved into the City of Lake Stevens and soon he became involved in City matters by attending City Council meetings and voicing his opinion as a citizen. He applied for an open City Council position in early 1991, and was appointed to fill that position. Since then he has been fortunate enough to be elected to serve the citizens of Lake Stevens as their representative on City Council.

His work for over 20 years was in precision sheet metal fabrication. The last several years in the business he attained the position of production supervisor. Since leaving the sheet metal business, he was the office manager for a local software company.

For relaxation Neal attends classic car shows, NHRA drag racing, but most important is spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren.

SPECIAL PROJECTS
His many activities since being on City Council include Council President, Council liaison to the Lake Stevens School Board, Lake Stevens Planning Commission and Park Board. He has been fortunate to serve over the years on the City of Lake Stevens Budget Committee , Annexation Sub-Committee, and Sewer Sub-Committee.
