Welcome to the Lake Stevens South Master Plan Webpage

The City of Lake Stevens is one of the fastest growing cities in the region and is rapidly transforming from a small town to a growing City. It is important to plan for this growth in a manner that ensures quality development and protection of environmental resources. Additionally, there is a need to accommodate more employment opportunities within the area so people can work near to where they

Since 1994, Lake Stevens has identified Future Planning Areas to the north, south, and east of the City’s current UGA for future growth. The focus of the Lake Stevens South Master Plan is the Future Planning Area located west of SR9 and north/northeast of US2 (see map at right). The Master Plan will provide an overall future land use concept based upon a planning process that includes numerous channels for citizen input, in addition to, land use, economic, and environmental analyses.
